What Is the Trading Heatmap Useful For?The Heatmap feature in the Trading Journal is primarily designed to help you analyse your own trading performance. For day traders, it is much more than just a jumble of colours. It provides valuable answers to the right questions and can help you uncover patterns in your results. Are there certain days of the week when I generally perform better or worse? Are there certain times of the year when I consistently struggle? One of our users noticed an interesting pattern: an exceptionally bad day was rarely followed by an exceptionally good day, whereas an exceptionally good day quite often followed an exceptionally bad one. From this, they drew the following conclusions: The Heatmap can help answer many more questions like these. You can view the Heatmap at different levels of granularity and choose to include weekends, which is particularly useful if you actively trade cryptocurrencies on Saturdays and Sundays. For day traders and scalpers, we strongly recommend the daily view. It helps you monitor consistency and identify weaknesses that you can work on once you have drawn the right conclusions. Swing traders don’t necessarily need the daily view and can comfortably use the weekly view instead. Position traders can use the monthly view. However, for both groups, the Heatmap may answer very different questions than it does for day traders. To be honest, the Heatmap is by far the most useful for day traders. For those who trade at a different pace, it is more of an additional feature. The sampling period always covers full calendar years. You can select an individual year or view all years together. The feature can generate heatmaps based on PnL, Return %, Win Rate, and Number of Trades.Risk of Ruin — How It Is CalculatedThe Pillinger Trader UI Risk of Ruin analysis uses Monte Carlo simulation to estimate the probability that a simulated equity path reaches a defined loss threshold…Import archived trader from Revolutbafgag
